The Arrival

I was driving the Coach and Peg was driving the car.(I know,I know, but it was easier than hooking it up again.)
My GPS said the campground was 2 miles or 3.4 km from the Ferry on my left.
Peg's GPS said it was 18 miles

It was 3 kilometers and on my right, so we missed it.

We did see it as we passed by so that was a good thing.Peg went back with the car and I carried on to find a place to turn around. That was no fun.Peg was not there to advise of traffic so I had to find a place big enough to make a u turn. Not that easy to do with a 45 ftr. After many many kms I did find a place and squeezed through.

When I got back Peg had the place scoped out and we got parked without any more incidents. It was even an easy spot to get into.

Settled for a few days at last.

Pat had been camped here since the day before but he went home to get Tara and Julie so we were alone. So it was off to town to buy some grub. It's a nice little town right on the lake and the grocery prices were not like most tourist towns, they were reasonable.Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about.Hmmmm

We got back and fired up the BBQ just as Tara, Pat  and Julie arrived.Hugs and kisses and all that stuff happened as usual.

We had a few cold ones, ate and had a few more along with their friends Angie and Eric who arrived from Pembroke.

Then it was good-night.
