Sunday

Twas a normal kind of day for us.
Everybody but me went to the Sunday Market.

Alex got a new hat to try and cover his burn

Beth got to carry the grub

JP got to be JP

When they got home they met me at the pool

Later we scooted into town to the Huanacaxtle

Where the kids of course are kept busy electronically

This of course is where us young crowd hangs out as you can see

Even the dogs like the music

Alex and Oliver sang and Wendy was showing off her back
Why she was showing off her back I do not know

A good time was had by all

Well maybe not all.Alex had a hissy fit but Granny tried to cheer him up
I think that's a phoney smile but he will get over it.

Later on the kids went for a dip.
I'm not sure what this picture is that ended up on the camera but it's kind of cool

What a country!

The Kids

Wendy,JP,Beth and Alex arrived on Friday night.

Someone seems to have forgotten he owns a camera or two,no pics.

After their arrival we went out to "Charlie's Place" a new pizza joint in town. It's a nice restaurant but just because we altered the toppings on the pizza they really stuck it to us on the price.Just ridiculously expensive.Oh well! You can get me once but you will not get me again.

Then it was home for a couple where our neighbour Geoffrey joined us till almost 1 am

The next morning Alex was up bright and early making orange juice for us all.

Later it was down to the pool
where it was the busiest we have
ever seen.

Even the mutts had a relaxing day by the pool

Sailor Dan had joined us for the day cause Geoffrey had invited him over the day before but Geoffrey being the pound puppy he is spent the day in bed.
We enjoyed Dan's company and of course his story.
Built his own boat
Approx 26 feet long only
Sail boat
Took him 28 years to build it
Took off from north of Seattle by himself
Sailed it down here
No refrigeration
Only an outboard for back up
No generator
Only a hand held gps
Balls the size of a bull
Priceless

Later we all went down to the Huanacaxtle and after that Tacos on the Street.Even Wendy ventured out  for taco's and that's kind of a miracle.

Maybe some day I will remember to take more pics

Another Good-Bye

The Hermites were leaving to-day so we headed in to The Malecon in PV as they had never been there.
We were led by our illustrious leader Vino Puerco

The sights and the sounds are definitely different.

We of course ended up at our favorite place.

Where the view is always interesting.
Almost every one climbs up trying to look like the statues but no one ever gets it right.

Not even your good friend when he was going to prove me wrong by doing it right.
HEY HEY HEY

After a few and some lunch we took off for the airport.
Louise had a little trouble with the luggage or maybe it was the caesars  and the vino blanco

They did get organized and sadly we said our good-byes.

Well, maybe not so organized but they did make the plane.

We then started home but the Huanacaxtle Bar was calling so we stopped for 1?

Then home to watch The Bourne Legacy, finally.

The Day After

The day after Christmas was a quiet one.

We started off with breakfast at the Huanacaxtle Marina.

Then it was down to the pool

Boy wanted to get in some last minute rays
Before the trip home in the afternoon.

The Hermites were also doing there last fry as they will be heading home tomorrow.

Soon it was time and we took Chris to the airport and said good-bye.I's only 27 below in Edmonton so he will have the great shock when he steps off the plane.
The good news is he will be back in March.

The rest of the day we relaxed and ate left-overs.
We also played a few games of Euchre with the broads, until finally they quit cause they knew we would remain the Champions again for another year.

And Bob's your Uncle

Christmas Day

Guess who didn't show up again this year?

You will never guess.

We were good boys and girls this year and you would think that fat bastard could navigate his way around Mexico and find us.But oh no,he was a no show again.
I'm getting to wonder if he is for real!

Ya think?

Even though Santa was a no show it's still Christmas morning

I know this looks like a late night picture but it's actually about 11am

And what about this?
Why you taking my picture?

Breakfast was next
Fantastic

Followed by Louise setting the table

Next came Tom the Turkey ready to eat.

We had the neighbours,Bev and Geoffrey, over for dinner.
Dinner was perfect and we all stuffed ourselves

After dinner the men shed their shirts and stuff. Why?
Cause we can and it's hot

We were quite quiet.

While Geoffrey can be quite animated.
I'm not going to tell you about Geoffrey's under garments
I'm not going to tell you about his local adventure
I'm not going to tell you anything
I won't even tell you about having to look at his ass.(even though it is kind of cute!)

A good time was had by all and to all a good night.

Christmas Eve

First we had to go shopping again but this time it was for stuff for the stuffing and the rest of Christmas dinner.

Cause we could-We went to the pool and from there we watched the boats.

We also spotted a whale.

Then it was off to Frascatti's for dinner, where we made Chris(Boy) sit at his own table.
(Not True)
We had a great dinner then it was off home to watch our movie.
We were going to watch this movie the night before but I downloaded it off Apple TV in high resolution HD and it took over 4 hours to download on our high speed internet so we had to save it for a day.

We ended up having a cool one on the patio and watching the neighbour kids beat the hell out of a Christmas Pinata

Then our friends from next door came over so maybe we will watch the movie tonight.
Who knows?

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU FROM ALL OF US.
